By Amil Imani:
Once again, the time has come to give thanks to Pamela for her non-stop work to enlighten the American people about the true nature of our enemy. It is not easy to work day in and day out just to make sure we get the message.
I have known Pamela for years. She has always been truthful, honest, sincere and kind. She works hard and has dedicated her life to a noble cause. Like most of you, I used to admire her from afar before meeting her in person. She is one of the great champions of freedom and liberty in America.
I have praised Pamela on several occasions in the past for her courage, bravery and for standing on the right side of history by speaking the truth and in defense of liberty.
Pamela Geller has always objectively exposed the true nature of Islam for all to see. She has been a valued champion and defender of human dignity with liberty for all, and particularly for women as longstanding victims of Islamic misogyny.
The free world owes a debt of gratitude to Pamela for her work and her valiant exposure the racist and supremacist nature of Islam where so many journalists (both left and right) never dare to even touch it for the fear of being labeled an “Islamophobe.”
Most of us, frequently speak of American soldiers who sacrifice their lives to keep us safe here in America. Also, many of us often say that soldier gave his life for his country without knowing just what that means. It means, he was killed in the line of duty to make you safe.
To understand this, we need to comprehend the freedom we now enjoy, and on many occasions, take for granted, was bought at the price of their own lives. The same can be said of individuals like Pamela Geller. She is a soldier, a fighter that has a fatwa on her head and has been under attack by devious media and politicians for years. Why? For telling the truth. Truth is the new hate speech. Yet, she never stops and is unafraid.
In an op-ed, she wrote on Breitbart she stated:
“Now, in Fatwa: Hunted in America, I tell my own story of my work to defend freedom of speech, individual rights, and equality of rights for all. I go back to how I began chronicling my take on news events at my groundbreaking website Geller Report (previously Atlas Shrugs), then moved into activism; at first on behalf of Muslim girls who were being brutalized and victimized at home for not following the misogynistic rules of Islamic law, then to stand against the advance of jihad and Sharia on numerous fronts, and above all for freedom of speech, which is increasingly embattled in this age of jihad.
It’s all here: I recount my battle to defeat the Ground Zero Mosque project; the ISIS jihad attack at my Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas; the fatwa on my head and plot to behead me; and much, much more – including the relentless vilification from a mainstream media hell-bent on defaming and destroying everyone who stands for freedom against jihad terror and Sharia oppression.
Any lover of freedom would have been tarred the same way I was, and many have been. I am but a proxy in this terrible long war: what has happened to me is what happens, in small and large ways, to every American who stands for freedom.
Geert Wilders contributed the book’s Foreword. In it, he writes: “In this book is the story of how Pamela Geller has stood, and is still standing, for our freedom. She is the Joan of Arc of the counter-jihad movement. Tireless, fearless and brave. And I am immensely honored to stand with her.”
Pamela Geller is a true heroine. She stands for all that is dear to free people. She is a stark contrast to the masses of the politically correct, the apathetic, and the hired Islamic apologists. She is an American patriot who for decades, has been sounding the alarm about the ever-increasing menace Islam is posing to America and our way of life.
Time has come to honor and salute Pamela Geller once again.
