By Rob Pue:
The book of Jude contains only one chapter, and is one of the last writings of our new Testament, written just prior to John’s Gospel and the book of Revelation. Though it is short, it contains an important warning for it’s readers.
Jude begins by introducing himself as a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James. Jude is also the half-brother of Jesus Himself. His letter is addressed to “those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ.” In other words, this is written to true, faithful believers.
He begins, “Although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to earnestly contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.”
Why does Jude urge us to “earnestly CONTEND for the faith?” Because, as he continues, “…certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ, our only Sovereign and Lord.”
He then reminds us of the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling… in other words, he is talking about Satan’s demons, the fallen angels. Jude tells us that “these He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.”
This short book of the New Testament is so richly filled with vital information, especially as it relates to us today. He goes on, in verse 8: “In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams, these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.” In verse 10, we read: “…these people slander whatever they do not understand and the very things they do understand by instinct — as irrational animals do — will destroy them.”
“These people are blemishes at your love feasts,” Jude says, “eating with you without the slightest qualm — shepherds who only feed themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted — twice dead. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.”
And in verse 17, “But dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, ‘In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.’ These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.”
This is a warning for our day, friends. Because surely, certain men — evil and ungodly men — have crept into our churches unawares, and they are, even now, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
One need only look at the heresies of many of our so-called “Christian” leaders and pastors to find the evidence and proof of Jude’s writings. As I mentioned in a previous broadcast, I witnessed the very same recently as I was on a street witnessing mission in Columbus, Ohio, with the Salt and Light Brigade. As we went to a mosque to share the truth of Jesus Christ with the lost and perishing, we were opposed on all sides by these evil ones who have crept in unawares to the so-called “Christian church.” They have deceived MANY who believe they truly represent and speak for God Almighty.
These were pastors, clergymen and priests, standing arm in arm in solidarity with the Muslims — those who worship the false demon of Islam. And these pastors, clergymen and priests were ALSO standing to oppose us with Wiccans, Pagans, witches and homosexuals — while still calling themselves men and women of God. And they were dragging their ignorant sheep along with them into demonic delusion.
Later, as we went to minister at a local abortion center, one of these same witches who stood alongside these apostate ministers, we learned, was the head “death-scort” at the abortion center. Her job was to make sure the women and girls being led inside to murder their babies could not hear our pleas for life or God’s Word of truth. We also learned that the head “death-scort” at the local Planned Parenthood facility is an ELCA Lutheran “pastor.”
This same “pastor” stood and opposed our every move at the sodomite “pride” parade. Any time one of us would try to speak to an individual on the street, or preach to the crowd, this man was there to bang on a “cowbell,” shout profanities and make other loud noises, to drown out our message of hope, life and truth.
Without a doubt, this was one of whom Jude was speaking, as he made it his life’s work to pervert the grace of God into a license for immorality, denying Jesus Christ. This man, and many wicked ones like him, have crept into Christendom unawares — ALWAYS supporting the evil things now being pushed by the lying “left:” false gods, the murder of innocent unborn babies, and (not coincidentally) sodomy. Certainly Jude included the mention of Sodom and Gomorrah, their sexual immorality and perversion and their due punishment of eternal fire for a reason… because God knew we would be seeing these things in our day, today.
As Jude said, these men (and women) “slander whatever they do not understand,” and much of their wickedness they DO understand by INSTINCT — as even ANIMALS do — and so God will destroy them. You see, even ANIMALS have more sense than these evil apostates. Jude described them as “twice dead,” and so they are.
How, I wonder, do these self-proclaimed “Christian pastors” justify God’s Word with their own actions? How do they write off Romans 1:32? “Who, knowing the righteous judgment of God that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.” Yes, these apostate preachers not only do the same as the sodomites, the idolaters, the witches and pagans and murderers — they also approve of those who practice these things — and they defend them and they stand WITH them and DEFEND them in their lawlessness.
We have a problem, my friends. According to the latest polls, 67% of Protestant church-goers now approve of sodomite “marriage.” To them, it is just another alternative lifestyle. “Love is love,” they say. Moreover, many church-goers are now falling in line with the leftist doctrine of the “social justice gospel.” Many believe Christians and Muslims do, indeed, worship the same God. This is what they have been taught to believe by these evil ones who have crept in unawares.
Here in Wisconsin, we have an ecumenical organization known as the Wisconsin Council of Churches. This is an off-shoot of the World Council of Churches, whose goal is to usher in a “one-world religion.” Recently, standing in solidarity with Islam, they urged their church members to wish their Muslim neighbors a “Blessed Ramadan.” On their website, the Council of Churches states, “Grounded in our faith commitments to love of God and love of neighbor, the Wisconsin Council of Churches is reaching out to our Muslim neighbors with a message of solidarity and respect as the holy season of Ramadan approaches. We commit to be compassionate neighbors, bearing witness to the love and justice of Jesus Christ when those of other faith traditions experience prejudice.” What is Ramadan? It is a celebration of the time Mohammed received his first message from the demon, Allah; and it is also the worship of the crescent moon.
The Wisconsin Council of Churches even urged its members to place “Blessed Ramadan” signs in their yards at home, and in front of their churches. But this is demonic deception. What fellowship can light have with darkness? Do they not realize what God’s FIRST commandment IS: “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” Of course they know that Scripture. These people know the Scriptures very well. They simply choose to TWIST them to suit their own agendas. And the agenda of the World Council of Churches, and the Wisconsin Council of Churches (and I imagine every state has a similar affiliated organization) is the creation of a one-world religion.
This organization also takes up the causes of many other leftist agendas, including welfare, illegal immigration, gun confiscation and the freeing of convicted criminals from their jail sentences. In addition, it’s doctrines and practices are steeped in paganism. For example, in June, the Wisconsin Council of Churches hosted it’s “Lake Winnebago Water Walk.” Listen to this, from their website: “The Indigenous-led walk honors water through ceremonial protocols, water offerings, singing water songs and making petitions for our water to be clean and pure.” During the Water Walk, participants walk 90 miles, traveling clockwise around Lake Winnebago. According to the brochure, “We walk to honor the rivers, the lakes and the Spirit of the Water… only women carry the Water, as it is women who carry life. Men carry the eagle staff beside the women, protecting the women and the Water.” They also carry tobacco as “offerings” to streams, rivers and the lake.
I ask you, where do we find anything remotely like this in God’s Word? At the end of July, the Wisconsin Council of Churches will host their “Women and Water Coming Together Symposium” in Hayward, Wisconsin… again, focusing on women and men together — for the WATER. The event promises to include a concert, an honor pageant, a feast and healing ceremonies. This does not sound like any Christianity I have ever heard of. On the contrary, it sounds more like Romans 1 again: they “exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”
For those who don’t know, the Wisconsin Council of churches community consists of 19 member denominations. Among those are: The Christian Church: Disciples of Christ; The Christian Methodist Episcopal Church; The Church of God in Christ; The Church of the Brethren, Illinois and Wisconsin District; The Ecumenical Catholic Communion; The Episcopal Church; The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America; The Mennonite Church USA; The Prebyterian Church USA; The Reformed Church in America; The United Church of Christ; and The United Methodist Church, among others.
And for those who don’t know, many of these are the same denominations that march with floats IN the homosexual “pride” parades around the country, as they show their acceptance and affirmation of what the Bible clearly states is abomination.
These, my friends, are the “goats,” the “tares,” which the Bible speaks of. These are the so-called “Christian churches” leading thousands into hell with their doctrines of demons. They are very organized, and as I said, there are likely chapters of this World Council of Churches in every American state…. I’m only illustrating this message with information on the WISCONSIN Council of Churches.
They stand with the demon known as Allah; they stand with witches, pagans and homosexuals; they stand with ANTIFA and “social justice” warriors, who are bent on creating havoc and civil war in our nation. And they do all of this, under the guise of “Christianity!”
This is bad enough. But equally alarming is the many Christian churches that are NOT on the list of supporters here, but will do NOTHING to push back against these forces of darkness in our world. I’m speaking now of the many pastors who will NEVER, EVER speak the WHOLE counsel of God from their pulpits for fear of offending someone in their audience. And so on the one hand we have an organization dedicated to deliberate deception, and most of the rest of Christendom has been intimidated into silence for fear of being labeled “intolerant,” or making some feel “uncomfortable.” They are loving people straight to hell.
Where are the fearless men of God, the true Shepherds, making disciples and teaching them to obey all Jesus commanded? Leading them out of the church house to be salt and light in a world FILLED — LITERALLY FILLED — with deception in every nook and cranny?
Friends, we must do as Jude says at the outset: we must EARNESTLY CONTEND for the faith, which was given ONCE for all, entrusted to God’s Holy people. Earnestly contending for the faith involves MORE than just church attendance and serving at potlucks and going on men’s retreats. As our culture continues to spiral into chaos, these goats and tares are not helping the matter — nor are the cowardly pastors who know better. It is up to US — God’s remnant believers, to seek, warn and attempt to save the lost and confused. Will we be found to be “good and faithful servants? Because, if we do not do it, WHO, I ask you, is going to?
