Obama Knows More About Syrian Rebels Than He Admits

‘El Rushbo’ Comes Through Again

Rush Limbaugh recently discussed the possibility Syrian rebels were responsible for using chemical weapons on their own people – not President Bashar al-Assad. The Syrian regime already denies any allegations, and accuses rebels of releasing the gas.

Syria Not Responsible, Rebels Are!

Assad has already stated he was not responsible for this attack. Assad has nothing to gain by ‘gassing’ his own people. He knows 80-90 percent of those we are fighting belong to al-Qaeda. “Everyone will lose control of the situation once the powder keg explodes,” Assad said. “Chaos and extremism will spread. The risk of regional war exists.”

Reading an article by Yossef Bodansky (former director Congressional Task Force on Terrorism), revealed he believed attack on Syrian citizens would be  by al-Qaeda terrorists posing as Syrian rebels. It’s likely this Administration knew beforehand.

It seems new evidence from Middle East sources makes a very strong case the 8/21 chemical strike of deadly sarin gas in an Aleppo suburb (Damascus) was indeed a premeditated offense by the Syrian opposition.

Back in 9/2012, Foreign Policy magazine reported:  “the U.S. has lost track of some of Syria’s chemical weapons … and does not know if any potentially lethal chemicals have fallen into the hands of Syrian rebels or Iranian forces inside the country.”  It’s unlikely few remember Syrian rebels took control over a  government base which had chemical weapons last summer.

Russia Knowledgeable On This

Russia compiled a 100-page report blaming Syrian rebels for this chemical weapons attack, detailing Syrian rebels–not forces loyal to Assad–were responsible. Iran is threatening to launch a massive missile strike against Israel if the U.S. attacks Syria, which could start a full-blown war in the region. There are no U.S. national security interests in attacking Syria. It’s likely we have elected a president who so admires Islam but hates Israel, he would deliberately aid al-Qaeda while provoking a brutal Arab tyrant to attack a crucial ally.

After Obama’s double-talk concerning a “red line,”  Democrats support Obama’s apparent decision to strike Syria. There’s no foreign policy objective, no discernible national interest at stake, and only unequivocal disapproval from Americans. The questionable intelligence about who  launched chemical weapons, and major risks with striking, will ignite major disruptions, and additional Islamic hostility.

Already, in no uncertain terms, the Brits, the Germans, and the UN  have told Obama ‘they were not in’ as far as assistance with any action against Syria.

The ‘Powell Doctrine’

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell previously issued the “Powell Doctrine”, establishing conditions for the president to meet with Congress before using the military, which is vital to national security. The mission should be clearly defined, have an exit strategy, use overwhelming force to achieve its objective, and enjoy domestic support. Unfortunately, none of those apply for Syria.

So far, numerous calls to Congress, and at least 22 lawmakers say ‘no’ to military action. All calls have averaged 499-1 against Syrian war. Parties are being bombarded with negative voter responses.

Kerry Changes His Stance, Again

Back in 2009, Senator John Kerry said, “Syria is an essential player in bringing peace and stability to the region.” Assad had previously gotten military advice from Russia. The disjointed group of rebels turned to al-Qaeda and other Islamists for support, supplies and bodies.

Remember 9/11

Oliver North (NewsMax): Obama  should remember 9/11 is a ‘jihadi’ anniversary–and it will occur every year. Prime Minister Erdogan (Turkey) basically turned everything over to the Muslim Brotherhood. Now all Arab radicals — jihadis and radical Islamists — are flowing into Syria. North foresees a direct response from Russia in the wake of an attack on Syria.

New reports indicate al-Qaeda rebels  were being trained in Benghazi, and sent to fight in the Syrian civil war against Assad.  These include terrorist networks involved in the U.S. Benghazi compound.

Obama’s Secrets

Bottom line: Obama likely has secrets about Muslim terrorists in the Benghazi attack which could be fatal to his regime here if anyone learns the truth. He knows if Americans learn they are aiding al-Qaeda (and some who were behind the Benghazi attack) to fight in Syria, there would be a severe  American reaction.

Obama also realizes a conflict with Syria will completely obscure any wrongdoing he had in the Benghazi compound.
