CHO Quick Reaction by Chip McLean:
So the Elizabeth Warren DNA results are out:
(Fox News) – Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren took the rare step Monday of releasing DNA test results examining her possible Native American ancestry, in apparent response to persistent criticism from President Trump and other Republicans.
The results, as shared with The Boston Globe, reportedly reveal “strong evidence” the Massachusetts senator had a Native American ancestor dating back six to 10 generations. At the same time, the report could embolden critics by showing only trace amounts of that heritage — which Republicans have charged she used to advance her career at Harvard.
Poor Elizabeth Warren. She has suffered so greatly for her proud Native American ancestry – all 1/32nd to 1/512th of it.
After years of controversy, and her continued refusal to admit that she’s nothing more than a “Fauxchahontas”, she has released a DNA test that indicates that at some point, a long time ago, she had a Native American ancestor. By her own admission, this ancestor would go back at least as far as her great-great-great grandmother. The test results are so vague however that it could be as far back as 10th generation – which would make this “oppressed” woman a whopping 1/512 Native American.
Despite this statistically negligible percentage, her supporters are beating their collective chests crowing, “See! See! She is Native American!”
Talk about pathetic…they don’t seem to realize this test actually proves she is a total phony.
This is a country where a very large number of Americans in fact do have some Native American blood. I myself had a great grandfather who was full blooded American Indian. That would make me far closer to being Native American than Elizabeth Warren. Unlike Warren though, I never pushed the notion that my small amount of Indian ancestry somehow entitled me to minority preferential status. Warren on the other hand – at best 1/32nd Native American – used that to receive preferential admission status at Harvard.
Elizabeth Warren is no victim, and this DNA test doesn’t help her claims. She is in fact, not an “honest Injun”.
